Hiii, I’m Lamiya but most people call me Lammy, Lam, or Mia!
I’m a self-taught baker with a business degree, a fat kid at heart who still gets way too excited about food, and the girl behind Lammy’s Bakehouse in Las Vegas. I bake, work out, travel, love dogs, and have a major obsession with trying every culture’s food.
This is Lammy's Unbaked — the unfiltered version of me.
Before Lammy’s, I spent years working in hospitality on the Las Vegas Strip. I’ve worked front of the house in restaurants on the Strip, as a model cocktail server at some of the world’s best mega clubs and day clubs, and of course in the back of the house as a pastry cook. I also ran my own personal training business during that time. One of the coolest things I’ve done was a one-month internship at Sketch in London, right in the heart of Mayfair! Yes, the three-Michelin-star restaurant. That kitchen taught me a lot about precision, focus, and pushing yourself.
I started Lammy’s in 2020 while still working part-time on the Strip. It grew until the beginning of 2024, when I finally decided to go full-time. Recently I landed my first consulting job with a restaurant here in Las Vegas (pinch me!!) — such a full-circle moment.
These days you’ll find me in the kitchen, the gym, on a plane, or somewhere eating something new. High energy, always smiling, still that little girl who lights up for dessert.
